Chess Without Frontiers

Immortal Chess is one of the most successful and resilient chess forums ever established. It traces its roots back over a decade to a small Russian forum called immortal223.borda.ru. The reminents of this site still exist to this day and serve as a monument to our enduring legacy.

Our community is still driven by our unceasing passion to remove all hurdles that prevent underprivileged chess prodigies from accessing the finest chess materials available.

While we have encountered many threats to our existence, I feel our drive can be elegantly summarized by the following Thomas Paine quote: "Though the flame of liberty may sometimes cease to shine, the coal can never expire."
